What could be better than lying in the sun with a book? Not much! we think at snazzie :) That's why here is our take-with-you Summer Vacation Books Top 10. We can not choose so as always in random order and for all ages!
For our youngest there are so many stunning new picture books to choose from!
- Don't Worry Little Crab (2019) by Chris Houghton fits perfectly with the Summer, the story is so sensitive, touching and funny!
- A picture book by Astrid Lindgren is always an asset and Now that night is near (2019) truly is. With gorgeous illustrations by Marit Törnqvist!
- Jenni Desmond's picture book The Elephant (2018) is again a brilliant, informative and educational book, with wonderful illustrations!
Finding nice children's books for the in-between-age is harder, we have to search. Fortunately we found these beautiful books!
- The Lifters by Dave Eggers (2019) - A super exciting fantasy story, told by a British Top author!
- The girl who drank the moon written by Kelly Barnhill (2017) - Magic, Witches & Dragons a fun, original story
- The river singers by Tom Moorhouse (2013) - A beautiful told story about animals in nature
For Young Adults who like to read we have chosen a bit of everything
- The older, world famous bestseller Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer (2015) is beautifully written, moving and a true story
- The Sun is also a star written by Nicola Yoon (2016) is a romance novel with some depth, but still a relaxing read on vacation
- One of us is lying by Karen M. Mcmanus (2017) is a very exciting high school story, in which online gossip and murder come into play!
- We close our suitcase only after packing Darius the great is not okay by Adib Khorram (2018), a realistic coming-of-age book. Touching and beautifully written!
