What do you need?
1 wooden slat, 4.5x3.5cm
1 wooden slat 4x2cm
saw and miter box
sandpaper
primer and brush
acrylic paint, in various colors
paint brushes
acrylic paint marker, white
Our little train monster would like houses along his train track, he has many little dolls but they have no houses. We will dig up the saw and miter box, because we're going to make wooden houses!
How to make wooden houses
Saw pieces of wood from both slats, in various sizes.
Saw roofs on the houses, using a miterbox.
Sand the houses on all sides nice and smooth.
Rub them clean and paint with a thin layer of primer.
Use a waterbased primer on the houses and let the primer coat dry thoroughly
Paint the houses in fun colours.
Let the paint to dry completly.
Draw windows and doors on the houses.
Use for drawing little doors and windows a white or black (acrylic paint) marker
Allow the paint to dry well again.
Now the little wooden houses are ready to play with!
