2 slicess bacon, together +/- 250 grams
sea salt and freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
half a small glass of cold water

Frying bacon slices is not difficult at all and they are ready in no time. Most important, they are delicious and savory and they give you a delicious gravy. They go perfectly with any stew you can think of. But with rice they also taste delicious, marinated or with a little sweet soy sauce. They are also often used in Asian cuisine.

Rub the bacon slices with salt and pepper.

Put the butter into the skillet and let it brown.
