Shopping List
75g butter (room temperature)
75g caster sugar
1/3 free range organic egg (room temperature)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
125g plain flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
fondant icing, green, yellow, black, red

And if we do read Jungle Book anyway, it will be nice if there are biscuits too! Of course there are biscuits, we bake Kaa the Snake. No pictures of making the dough today, we've made these cookies a thousand times,they are simple but delicious!  There is more to see from the fondant cutting. How to make Kaa, the Snake

Put waxed paper on the baking tray already

Roll the dough to ± 1cm thickness.

Cut out snakes.

Put the snakes on the baking tray.

Baking tray 30 mins in the fridge.

Preheat the oven to 170°C

Bake the biscuits 8 - 10 minutes.

First rest on the tray for 5 minutes.

Allow to cool on a wire rack.

While the biscuits are cooling you roll fondant icing thinly, then cut it out

Dust the baking mat thinly with icing sugar so the fondant icing won't stick

Cut snakes out of fondant using the cutter.

Stick the snakes on the biscuits with a drop of water.

Cut off the green points to make room for the tongues.

Roll yellow eyes and black pupils between your hands.

Cut strips of yellow icing and cut out triangles.

Stick all the parts on the snakes with a drop of water.
