Today on snazzie The Lifters by American author Dave Eggers. He writes beautiful books although he is trained as a painter (his work is exhibited in several American museums). Also he is a co-founder of 826 National, a network that educates children and young people in writing, based in the United States. Besides all this he founded ScolarMatch (a non-profit organization) that links young people with schools, money and sponsors so they can go to college.
His way of writing appeals to many people worldwide, that his books for children are just as successful will not surprise you. We do not want to give away much about The Lifters, but it tells an original and exciting story. You really empathize with the heavy task of the main characters Gran and Catalina.
