Rotterdam is a really fun picture book about Rotterdam, made by Georgien Overwater. In the large format book you will find all the important 'sights' to see and places to be when you visit Rotterdam.

As Rotterdammers we are proud of most of our world famous archtecture and the art in our city, but we get nightmares from a few. Of course no one can please everybody, so you may judge for yourself, when you come here to see the sights. At least our art is very special! LOL!

There is a mix of old and new architecture, statues and living works of art. There is actually too much to see and experience here for a day in Rotterdam, although it might be a nice way to start.

Even a whole weekend is not enough because apart from the sights there is so much to do! Such as boat trips, fast and slow, long and short, further away and close by and with or without pancakes. The Rotterdam festivals are world famous in the Netherlands! :))

Here are the world-famous ports of Rotterdam located and there are plenty of sports to see or do, like the Marathon and our Feyenoord Soccer team or go skateboarding, climbing or sailing on the Kralingse Plas. We have beautiful Blijdorp Zoo, the Kralingse Bos and lots and lots of festivals to take part in. Delicious foods and drinks, from all over the world. and after all that go for a haircut at Schorem.

This picture book gives you a taste of Rotterdam, in advance of your visit. It is a wonderful book for all ages, even if you prefer to stay home and only read about it, comfy on your couch. We happily give it a heartfelt recommendation!

3 fabulous sparkling stars for Rotterdam by Georgien Overwater, from all the snazzie readers!
