The summer holiday is over, it is not easy to adjust the bedtime to back to schooltime! That's why this week we chose a somewhat older book from the famous Dutch author Harmen van Straaten, Retteketet! We're not going to bed yet!
Sadly this boos is not available in English. It is a favorite book here, with toddlers and preschoolers, because it is very recognizable to them. Someone regularly wants to stay up 'late' but the agreed time is almost never met :)
Nothing is more fun for the mini-monsters than recognition, that works every time in a reading book. This book really is great fun, it is often chosen. The adult readers have nothing against that, we also think it is a great book to read to the kids!
