For Chinese New Year we make sweet cuddly rabbits from felt, to as a present or just for yourself. There are two patterns that you can download, one more difficult, the other very easy, you can see for yourself which one you prefer. If you make a lot of them, we recommend the easy bunnies, they are just as sweet :))
How to make a little rabbit
Print and cut out the pattern.
Pin the pattern parts on the felt.
Cut them all out.
Pin all the parts on felt again.
And cut them out again.
Pin all the parts together.
Sew the small parts neatly together.
Leave an opening in all the parts to fill. With the ears the bottom, the paws a little piece and the hind paws the top. Set the body aside for now
Stuff the small parts.
Pin the ears between the head.
Sew the ears between the head.
Stuff the head.
Pin the paws between the body.
Pin the hind paws also between the body.
Sew the both on.
Don't forget to leave a small piece open to fill!
Stuff the body and sew it closed.
Your rabbit is almost ready!
Pin on the pattern.
Cut the rabbit out twice.
Pin the 2 parts of felt together
Sew the rabbit, fill and sew it closed.
Embroider or sew a face on you rabbits.
Colour the ears and the cheeks.
Sew little bows on the rabbits (or not).
Now they are ready!
