What do you need?
A piece of white cardboard
A glass
A pencil
Scissors
A black marker
A wooden skewer
Craft glue
Yesterday, our monsters were reading the Verhalenrijk book Saar waait weg (Saar blows away), a flip-over book that also included this craft. We've made this craft before, but never with a spider and a web.
As you can imagine, the monsters were eager to try it out right away. No sooner said than done, and it turned out great! So everyone immediately thought: this is also fun for little snazzie-readers, so here it is:
How to make a spider in it's web
Trace the glass twice on the white craft board.
Cut out the two pencil circles you have neatly traced.
Draw on one circle a big + with a large X over it.
Connect the lines with small curved lines into a spider web.
Now your spider web looks like this.
Draw a simple spider on the second spider.
Trace the web and spider with the marker.
Glue the skewer to one of the circles.
Glue the second one on the other side and let the glue dry.
Roll the skewer quickly between your hands and look at the spider, lounging in it's web!
