How to make healthy fruit shapes
Start with the strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Blitz the fruits without any additions for half a minute tops, then pour the fruit mush into the molds.
Divide the colors of the fruit over the different molds so you end up with different colors starfish, fish and flowers. Do you have too much fruits you can also use a standard ice cubes form.
Since we have three colors of red already we use mango and kiwi's also to make yellow and green shapes. We also add a cube tray of freshly squeezed orange juice.
Put the molds overnight in the freezer and press out the shapes the next day. Store the fruit shapes in freezer containers so you always have fresh fruit available. Put 3 fruit shapes of your choice, half a glass of milk or yogurt and half a banana in the blender and you have a delicious smoothie. You can also stir the fruit shapes in plain yogurt or use them in desserts, like ice cream or baked goods.
Delicious & healthy!
