Making jewelry is fun to do. With all the fun stuff you can buy, you can wear something different every day. Once you are busy, you get inspired to make more.
The girls go to a birthday party this afternoon, so they make a lot of bracelets for the Birthday girl and for themselves. They are going out the door covered in jewelry, beautiful!
Give little ones bead and elastic thread with a knot in the end.
Madelief is weaving a suede lace with beads.
She weaves turquoise beads in between the laces.

The girls make bracelets after their own idea. When the bracelet is ready untie the knot at the end, tie the two ends together. Tie a ribbon bow over the knot.
Cut a strip of foam and press in studs.
Flatten sharp points on the back.
Older kids can do it themselves.
The young ones decorate the bracelet with gems.
Measure lenght around a wrist, hammer in a snap.
When you are 10 years old you can make it by yourself.
