Children's book writer Susie Brooks, together with illustrator Dawn Cooper, has created a fantastic book, Insect KEmporium A treasure trove of insects. Beautiful to see how divers the insect emporium is, the mini-monsters are fascinated by it.
The book is superbly published, in large format, hardcover, with beautifully coloured insects in the foreground and the background in gold-coloured lines. All known insects are there, but that you also encounter so many unknown creatures we did not expect!
Some of the insects look a little creepy, but when you see them so beautifully drawn you find they are rather special. This book is a wonderful gift for any child interested in flying, crawling and jumping animals.
