Last year, the long-awaited part lll of Frostheart was published, the last part of the trilogy. The books are exciting and, above all, imaginatively written and brilliantly illustrated by the British author/illustrator Jamie Littler.
We left part ll of Frosteart on a real cliffhanger, had Ash really found his mother? Fortunately, there is now part III and we hope to gain more clarity about this, among other things. Because the first two parts are so exciting, we are very curious about the ending of the third part of the story.
Just started in part III we already know that Ash faces his biggest challenge yet. The dangerous Devourer is released after being locked up for centuries. If the tribes - who live on the Snow Sea - do not want to be in danger again, they must defeat him. Together, because alone the tribes are too small.
But once again the tribes cannot agree among themselves. There is always a lot of talk but no decision is made. Would Ash and his friends be on their own now? Should they travel to the Yeti Islands alone to find out more? But the Yeti Islands are forbidden to humans...
How will it all end, will Ash find his parents, can the friends defeat the devourer but also, will they return alive from the dangerous Yeti islands? This will be another book we can't put down and when it's finished we'll be bummed, The adventures of Ash and his friends are so cool!
