In Hong Kong everywhere on the street you can buy freshly made Ice Tea, from a vendor, in the restaurants and at McDonald's Hong Kong. The tea brewed really strong and very sweet with lots of sugar. The fresh slice of lemon makes the tea less strong and with lots of ice it becomes less sweet. So you get a delicious cooling drink on hot days. We make it at home, for Chinese New Year. Very tasty but we use half the sugar and less ice, it's cold in January!

How you make fresh Hong Kong Ice Tea

Remove the wax from the lemon under the hot tap with a brush.
