Gruffalo's herfst natuur speurboek sidepic
Today we're reading a Gruffalo-book by Julia Donaldson, which is actually an activity book and it's called: The Gruffalo Fall and Winter Nature Trail. That is a mouthful and the book is full too! There are pages with tons of information about trees, leaves, shrubs, seeds, berries, mushrooms and animals (among others) and all you see outside in the fall.
 
Throughout the book you will encounter the fantastic illustrations of Axel Scheffler, such fun! There are games and crafts in the book, from leaf painting to seed bombs, crafts which we really like at snazzie! But you find also stickers and lots of interesting facts. Always good to know, say the mini-monsters.

The book teaches the mini-monsters to look closely, collect nature's autumn gifts, investigate in a safe way and above all to really see how beautiful nature is. No pencil or felt-tip pen's colours can compete with it.

We take the book out with us and we enjoy it lot. In the back of this book you find blank sheets on which you can write about your quest when you return home. In fact, such a thin book that fits so much information is really special. We're glad there are three more parts!
