A Dot in the Snow is an older picture book by Corinne Averiss , but it remains fun to read it to toddlers and pre-schoolers. The story is about a polar bear and a little girl at the North Pole who become good friends.
They help each other out, the polar bear overcomes his fear of water and the girl finds her mummie again. It couldn't end more beautiful! The mini-monsters really enjoy the snow fun and they are happy that everything turns out well in the end!
The atmospheric winter illustrations by Fiona Woodcock contribute greatly to the appeal of this picture book. The little girl and the young polar bear are so cute, playing in the snow together. This sweet picture book is highly recommended for this small price! and it makes a lovely gift!
