We make quick Easter chick sandwiches, for Easter Day breakfast. Unfortunately, our baker was out of round casino bread, which would have been easy for us. Now we cut round sandwiches ourselves, which is also done in no time. White bread this time, an exception here so extra tasty! Healthy toppings and the chocolate buttons get set aside, for last. Delicious!
How to make these Easter Sandwiches
Cut out round sandwiches.
Cut around a glass, that works well.
Cut cheese using a smaller glass.
Cut off some lettuce leaves.
Peel a carrot.
Wash and dry the veggies.
Toast the sandwiches.
Dry the salad leaves well in a clean tea towel, otherwise your toast will become soggy!
Cut the carrot into beaks, small strips and circles.
Top the salad leaves with toast, cheese, carrot and chocolate buttons.
