Tas side 1

On youtube.com we watched a Japanese lady who lives in Brazil making bags without needle and thread. In Brazil, those bags totally hot, she is on every television show to demonstrate how to make the bag. In all colors and in all types of fabric.

The girls also loved to have one so here they are! Madelief chooses a hip tye & dye cotton, Eefje likes the funny monkeys best.

How to make the bag
Start by cutting the fabric to size: 1x1 meter.

Tie knots on diagonal corners of the fabric, Madelief prefers 4 knots.

Draai de stof met de goede kant naar buiten, knopen naar binnen.

Tie the knots together on the same sides, like a pouch.

Madelief braids three strings to make schoulder straps.

If the braid is too long cut it the right size, but first tie a knot at the end.

Madelief makes the bag for Eefje as well, tying knots is difficult for Eef.

Four knots on the corners, then tie two together

The ladies show the empty bags. The bags look better if they are filled but the girls are happy with them anyway :D
