On December 5th we read a cozy picture book called: De helper van Sinterklaas (Sinterklaas' helper). The story is written by the Belgian children's book author Katleen Put and the fun, colourful illustrations are by Sophia Touliatou.
The story is about the little boy Pieter, who does not want gifts from Sinterklaas, but who really wants to help Sinterklaas for a day. He loves to be a Pietje too! So he writes that on a note and puts it in his shoe. Would Santa grant his wish, hm, that's a difficult question!
