Shopping list for two
the juice of ½ lemon
2 tablespoons elderberry cordial
125ml apple juice
handful of ice cubes
sparkling mineral water, to taste
a few mint sprigs, to garnish
On hot summer days, this refreshing Apple-Elderflower Cooler tastes delicious! The British make the elderflower syrup themselves, but the elderflower blooms in June, so we are too late for that. We bought the syrup in the supermarket this year and with it ready made you can make this lemonade super fast!
How to make Apple - Elderflower Coolers
Juice the half lemon.
Pour it into a shaker.
Add the elderberry cordial.
Add the apple juice too.
Fill up the shaker with ice cubes.
Shake it 10 seconds until combined.
Pour the cooler into the glasses.
Fill the glasses up with mineral water.
Sprig of mint to garnish, lovely and fresh!
