string of 10 Christmas lights
We saw these dreidel lights on the internet and we were immediately sold on them. We drew immediately draw a pattern and bought light blue tissue paper. We used paper for making sewing patterns on for the white lights, we still had a lot lying around.
With or without a template you can copy the Hebrew words that are on the dreidel. The mini monsters are speechless, they love the beautiful lights so much. But this is a craft for the older monsters or for adults, because the dreidels are not so easy to stick together!
How to make Dreidel Lights
Print the PDF and cut out the pattern.
Trace the pattern on tissue or pattern paper.
Cut out the traced patterns also.
Trace and cut out several patterns at once.
Fold the dreidels as in the pattern.
Make 2 cuts in the square, like a plus +
Stick the point together first.
Then stick all the points together
Stick the top together.
Let the glue dry well.
Now make 5 blue lights.
Allow the blue dreidels to dry well too.
Poke the lights alternately through the crosses in the dreidels.
The Dreidel lights shine very cozy!
