Today is World Animal Day, time to read this great book Cheffie is de baas (Cheffie is the boss) by Kaat Vrancken. Cheffie is a cute little dog but he is also mischievous. Anyone who has dachshunds or likes them will recognize them in Cheffie, because Cheffie does what he wants. After all, he is a dachshund!

The illustrations by Martijn van der Linden fit the story perfectly, by now we expect nothing less from him ;)) The small black and white drawings show the dachshund in all it's naughtiness and particular dog poses. Cheffie has naughty written all over him, Kaat Vrancken and Martijn van der Linden really found each other in this book. Have a lovely read!
