We are reading a lovely thick book, recommended by and in the theme of Children's Book Week 2023, and so far it is great fun! The story is written by Mirjam Oldenhave and it is called Boutje van de Rommelberg (Little Bolt from the Junk Mountain). It is an original and adventurous but also very funny story. The mini monsters can't wait for us to read on.
Rick de Haas made the fun illustrations in the book and won the Bronze Stylus for it. There are a lot of illustrations and that makes the book even more attractive for the slightly older monsters, to try to and read it for themselves. ;))
