milk or dark chocolate
We make apples from Orange (from oranges) with chocolate and these are very tasty treat. The combination of fresh fruit with chocolate is always perfection. But the mini-monsters don't like dark chocolate very much. With dark chocolate your orange slices will be more beautiful, but we prefer that everyone likes it :)
This is how you make these apples from orange
Score the skin crosswise all around.
Peel the orange.
Scrape off white skin under the tap.
Let the orange wedges dry.
Bring a layer of water to the boil.
Chop the chocolate into pieces.
Melt the chocolate au bain marie.
Place a wire rack on waxed paper.
Stir the chocolate briefly.
Dip the wedges in the chocolate.
Tap off the excess chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to set.
Not really pretty but delicious, these apples of Orange!
