A fun holiday outing is a visit to a museum, for our mini monsters. In the Rijksmuseum shop we bought the picture book Monkey & Mole in the Rijksmuseum, by Gitte Spee. The little ones think it's so funny that Monkey and Mole have been here too.
Not checked in at the cash register like we do, but by accident, through a long tunnel! Because it is of course not aloud that all kinds of animals roam around in the museum. Why not? the kids ask. The animals may not be careful with the beautiful old art and break something, because they don't know it. Oh yes.
How will it end with Monkey & Mole in the museum? Good, we think and yes, because it is a lovely book! The mini-monsters think so too!
