A very well-known book to us has been chosen in this year's The National Reading Days Picture Books Top 10, it is Aan Zee by author/illistrator Noëlle Smit. This is a large format book with beautiful watercolours of a summer by the sea. Nice to dream away to the warm summer days during the cold, dark days January!
So recognizable for the mini monsters, on endless summer days strolling through the sand, looking for shells, playing in the water and building sand castles. It will still be a while before we go again this summer, but we are already looking forward to it. Until then, we'll dream about it with this beautiful picture book!
