Oerrr website

This is not the first time we have written about Oerrr, but for those who are reading it for the first time: Oerrr is the children's department of Natuurmonumenten. What is Natuurmonumenten? Natuurmonumenten is an association that defends Dutch nature.

It protects Dutch nature reserves, valuable landscapes with Dutch wildlife and Dutch cultural heritage. They are very important! Not only for the preservation of the nature of the Netherlands, but also for the people who live here.

Oerrr is an important part of the association, which is specifically aimed at children. They are the future of the Netherlands (and the world) and learning young is doing old. Oerrr teaches children how to explore the nature around them, learn from it and how to help keep our living environment healthy.

To support the association, you can become a member of Natuurmonumenten for a small monthly contribution. You can also (and/or) make your (grand)child(ren) a member of Oerrr for a minimum of 2.50 each month.

For your support of the association, you will receive a welcome package with a magazine, booklets with walking routes, you will receive a discount on all kinds of activities and you can park for free at nature reserves.

The Oerrr kids receive a welcome package according to age and quarterly post in your letterbox from Natuurmonumenten. You can see what that post contains above. TIt always has fun crafts and activities, focused on the season, and everyone can participate!

So what's to stop you? Join up, the more the merrier and the better our beautiful nature stays preserved for our offspring!

PS Don't forget to watch the video at the top about how you can help the hedgehog!

Happy Winter to all!
